Leeds United investor Will Ferrell helped launch the 2026 FIFA World Cup at a star-studded party in Los Angeles, attended by FIFA president Gianni Infantino.
According to yorkshireeveningpost.co.uk, the official launch took place on Tuesday at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum.

The tournament begins on Thursday when joint-hosts Mexico face South Africa in the Group A opener.
Ferrell became a minority investor in Leeds in 2024 as part of the wider 49ers Enterprises vehicle.
