Wolves alter pre-season as Real Sociedad friendly brought forward | OneFootball

Wolves have adjusted their pre-season plans after their Real Sociedad friendly was brought forward by 72 hours.

According to ExpressAndStar.com, Cesar Peixoto’s side were due to face the Basque club on Tuesday, July 28 at Walsall’s Pallet-Track Bescot Stadium.

The match will now be played on Saturday, July 25, with a 5pm kick-off.

Villa had been set to meet Sociedad at the same venue that day, but the fixtures were switched after a change to the Premier League club’s planned Asia tour schedule.

Wolves are scheduled to begin pre-season at non-league Maidenhead United on Wednesday, July 22, with a 7.30pm start.

They will then travel to SC Heerenveen in the Netherlands on Saturday, August 1, kicking off at 3pm, a week before the Carabao Cup first round.

Players not involved in the World Cup are due back for pre-season training in early July.
