Christos Mandas could leave Lazio this month as Premier League interest develops and the club weigh up a sale.

CalcioMercato reports that Wolverhampton Wanderers and West Ham United have made enquiries in recent weeks. Lazio are seeking around €10m. That would mark a sizeable profit on the roughly one million euros paid to sign him from OFI Crete two and a half years ago.

The 24-year-old Greek is firmly behind Ivan Provedel under Maurizio Sarri. The coach has not blocked a departure, though the club are taking a cautious approach.

Any exit would depend on finding a replacement. Venezia’s Filip Stanković has emerged as a leading option, with other profiles monitored in Italy and abroad.

If a suitable deputy cannot be secured in January, Mandas’ move may be pushed back to the summer window.
