Wolves benefited from an incorrect decision in their 2-2 draw at Brentford, with the Premier League’s Key Match Incidents Panel saying the hosts should have been awarded a penalty.
According to ExpressAndStar.com, Brentford were 2-0 up in the 41st minute when Kevin Schade was held by Andre, the on-field officials did not give it and VAR did not intervene.
The panel judged the holding sustained and voted by four to one that a spot-kick should have been given. They also deemed it was not a clear and obvious error, so VAR was right not to step in.
Wolves later fought back at the Gtech Community Stadium, with goals from Adam Armstrong and Tolu Arokodare pulling them level in their final match before a three week break.
Arokodare struck the bar late on, and Wolves were close to snatching all three points.
