Women’s Champions League draw: Chelsea to host Barcelona while Arsenal face Lyon and Bayern Munich in League Phase

Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester United discovered their League Phase opponents in the draw for the Women’s Champions League.
The new League Phase format for the competition will see 18 teams play six matches each, in order to make the knockout phase.
Below, we list the full Champions League draw, while highlighting which sides the English teams will face.
Champions League holders Arsenal were drawn against Bayern Munich and Lyon in the draw for the League Phase of the Women’s Champions League.
The Gunners beat Lyon 5-3 on aggregate in the semi-finals of last year’s competition, before going on to beat Barcelona in the final.
Renee Slegers’ side will also play Real Madrid who they narrowly beat 3-2 in the quarter-final stage.
The Gunners were also drawn against Benfica, OH Leuven and FC Twente.
Arsenal will host Lyon, Real Madrid and FC Twente at the Emirates Stadium. They will travel to Bayern Munich, Benfica and OH Leuven.
Chelsea will host Barcelona in perhaps the biggest game of the League Phase of the Women’s Champions League.
It is a rematch of last year’s semi-finals, where the Spanish beat the Blues 8-2 on aggregate – winning 4-1 both home and away.
The Blues also face a tricky trip to VfL Wolfsburg from Pot 1.
Sonia Bompastor’s side will be relatively pleased about the rest of their opponents.
The reigning WSL champions will host AS Roma and Paris FC, while travelling to St.Polten and FC Twente.
Manchester United have been handed a tricky-looking draw for what is their first time reaching the main phase of the Women’s Champions League.
The Red Devils came from behind to beat Brann 3-1 on aggregate in the third qualifying round of the competition. Marc Skinner hailed his ‘history-makers’ following the match.
United will welcome French giants Lyon and travel to Vfl Wolfsburg from Pot 1.
From Pot 2, United will host Paris Saint-Germain and travel to Italian champions Juventus.
Their final opponents are Norwegian side Valerenga at home and Atletico Madrid away.

The exact dates for these fixtures will be confirmed in due course, but the fixtures will take place on the following dates;

The top four after the six games will automatically qualify for the quarter-finals, while the teams ranked 5th to 12th will have to face a two-legged play-off to make the last-eight.
