West Ham are reported to be lining up a new main sponsor for the club after our Betway deal expires.
Football regulators have put in place a ban for gambling firms to be the main sponsors of clubs from the 2026/27 season, with an expectation that Betway could then be the clubs sleeve sponsor.
Its been reported by Sean Whetstone on Claret & Hugh that the club are set to remain with Umbro for the long-term also, although this will be under the Castore umbrella.
“Sources in the shirt manufacturing industry have suggested Castore have won the tender to be West Ham’s new technical partner when the current deal with Umbro expires,” stated Whetstone.
“However, the ‘Umbro’ banner is likely to continue on West Ham shirts after Castore signed a sub-licensing deal with Umbro last year.
“Two names have been mentioned as possible front of shirt sponsors for the new shirt deal. One is Amazon Prime, and the other is Foot Locker.
“Footlocker are the official marketing partner of NBA but rumoured to be keen to get into the Premier League.
“West Ham shareholder Daniel Kretinksy owns around 10% of Footlocker through his investment company although he sold some of stock in August last year.
“The Premier League will start a voluntary ban of all Gambling front of shirt sponsorship coming in from the 2026-27 season.”
