The first pitch session took place at the Lycée Classique de Cocody in a friendly atmosphere, following a morning focused on reconditioning. Around fifteen players were present, including Dokou Dodo, Saturnin Allagbé, Rodolfo Aloko, Andreas Hountondji, Yohan Roche, and Mohamed Tijani. Imrane Hassane, now back to full fitness, participated in training as usual, according to the Cheetahs' Team Media Officer.

The squad continues to fill out, with the final players expected to arrive in the coming hours. The next session is set for Tuesday, September 2, at 4:30 p.m., again at the Lycée Classique de Cocody. Benin will take on Zimbabwe (05/09) and Lesotho (09/09) during this FIFA window.
