World Cup: FC Bayern stars face off as Canada clash Morocco in Houston | OneFootball

Co-hosts Canada face Morocco in the opening Round of 16 fixture at the 2026 World Cup. Jesse Marsch's troops will not have the home advantage as Houston is the host city for the game.

FC Bayern's new signing Ismael Saibari will hope to continue his stellar performance after officially joining the German giants. Morocco’s attacker scored in all group stage games before converting the winner in the penalty shootout win over Netherlands in the Round of 16.

Stuttgart's Bilal El Khannouss has also been influential for the 2022 semi-finalists as he keeps his place in midfield. Meanwhile, FC Bayern's Alphonso Davies will start on the bench once again after impressing in his first appearance of the tournament against South Africa.
