Andy Robertson is set for his Liverpool exit this summer with the expiration of his contract
Wrexham are in the mix for promotion to the Premier League this season after just one year in the Championship.
The Red Dragons were in the National League as recently as 2023, but back-to-back-to-back promotions have seen them rise up the English football pyramid quite quickly.
Hollywood owners Ryan Reynolds and Ryan McElhenney have brought a lot of attention to the club since taking over in February 2021.
Phil Parkinson’s side have made a strong first impression in the second tier, with the club returning to this level for the first time since 1982 after coming second in League One last season.
The Welsh outfit currently occupy a play-off place, and will have their sights set on potentially another promotion this year.
However, they face competition from the likes of Southampton, Derby County and Watford in the chasing pack outside of the top six.

Glen Johnson has suggested that Wrexham could make a move for Andy Robertson this summer, if they gain promotion to the Premier League.
The full-back’s contract is set to expire at the end of the campaign, and the former Liverpool defender believes that it would make a lot of sense for the Red Dragons to want him given his experience.
"Naturally, if Andy Robertson were to leave to go to a promoted club, it's technically a step back, but there aren't many steps forward from Liverpool,” said Johnson, via Goal.
“However, in terms of a newly promoted side that has a plan, you could understand why they'd want him for sure.
"Thinking about his experience, trophies, age, helping the youngsters around him, and giving the dressing room a boost, having a Champions League winner in the dressing room, especially when they might be in the Premier League for the first time.
“You can see how that would absolutely give them a lift.
"Whether he has the desire for that kind of challenge is something we'd have to ask him.
"He might want to go and play in the sun somewhere for the last few years instead."
Robertson has struggled for consistent game time this season under Arne Slot, with the Scotland international featuring just 16 times in the Premier League.
The 31-year-old has started on only five occasions, with the team sitting fifth in the Premier League table, three points adrift of the top four.
However, the left-back played in 33 of Liverpool’s 38 league games last season as they clinched a second title in five years.
Robertson joined Liverpool in 2017 from Hull City, and he has won two Premier League titles, a Champions League, an FA Cup and two EFL Cups.
Meanwhile, Wrexham are sixth in the Championship table and are four points clear of seventh place Southampton with 11 games to go.
Parkinson’s side are in the middle of a three-game winning run, having beaten Charlton Athletic, Portsmouth and Ipswich Town.
The Welsh outfit won’t be in league action again until 10 March when they host Robertson’s former club Hull in a 7.45pm kick-off.
However, the club will be in action this weekend in the fifth round of the FA Cup when they play Chelsea at home on 7 March in a 5.45pm start.

Wrexham have invested heavily in their team since being bought by their Hollywood owners five years ago, and Robertson’s signing would take it to a whole new level.
The full-back is no longer at his best at the age of 31, but he is still a more than capable Premier League full-back.
It is surprising that Liverpool are being so quick to discard a club legend, but that could be an avenue Wrexham should look to explore, provided they are promoted.
Given the likely options available to Robertson this summer, only promotion will do in their possible hopes of signing the Scot as he will surely not be ready to drop down to the Championship just yet.
