Real Madrid head coach Xabi Alonso is giving consideration to making use of the talents of youngster Endrick from a wide berth this coming season.

That’s according to Blancos insider Jorge C Picon, who has on Monday provided an insight into the situation.

Frontman Endrick is for his part of course fresh off something of a hit-and-miss debut campaign in Spain’s capital.

Under the watch of Carlo Ancelotti, the Brazilian largely struggled for game-time, afforded a grand total of just three La Liga starts.

And yet, in flashes, Endrick showcased his evident qualities, racking up five goals in six appearances in the Copa del Rey.

With Kylian Mbappé and man of the moment Gonzalo García to compete with for minutes at centre-forward in 2025/26, though, the 18-year-old could continue to struggle for regular starts.

Manager Xabi Alonso, in turn, is giving consideration to alternative arrangements.

As per a report from Jorge C Picon, after Endrick occasionally took to the pitch in a similar role under Ancelotti’s watch last season:

‘Xabi Alonso is considering having Endrick play as a right winger.’
