Yaya Touré to take Monaco v Lille kick-off at Stade Louis-II on Sunday

Yaya Touré will take the ceremonial kick-off when AS Monaco face Lille at Stade Louis-II on Sunday night.

According to Nice-Matin, the Ivorian, who spent the 2006-07 season with Monaco, will also meet supporters for a signing session at 19:40 on the stadium forecourt.

He is scheduled to start proceedings at 21:00 on Sunday 10 May, for Monaco’s penultimate Ligue 1 match of the campaign.

Touré later won the Champions League with Barcelona in 2009, adding La Liga titles in 2009 and 2010.

At Manchester City he won the Premier League in 2012, 2014 and 2018, was named African Footballer of the Year four times from 2011 to 2014, and lifted the Africa Cup of Nations in 2015.
