Manchester United will entertain Brighton and Hove Albion at Old Trafford this Sunday as they look to secure a good result at home in the FA Cup. The Red Devils were held to a 2-2 draw away at Burnley recently, which should keep them in good spirits going into this game.

The Mancunian giants will set up in a 4-2-3-1 formation and are expected to make one change to their first team for this clash. Leny Yoro could get a chance to play from the start of this game, while Ayden Heaven makes way for him and drops to the bench.

Defence

Senne Lammens will feature in between the sticks for the Mancunian giants after he conceded two goals in his last outing. Leny Yoro will operate alongside Lisandro Martinez at the heart of Man United‘s defence as they look to keep a solid shape on the defensive end of the field.

Diogo Dalot will play as the right-back, while Luke Shaw hopes to prove his worth on the other flank as the left-back. Both of them will get the freedom to go forward and express themselves inside the opponent’s half.

Harry Maguire and Ayden Heaven will offer cover for the defensive positions on the bench.

Midfield

Casemiro and Manuel Ugarte will anchor the midfield for Man United as they look to make life difficult for the opposition at the centre of the park.

The talented trio of Matheus Cunha, Bruno Fernandes and Patrick Dorgu will play just ahead of them as part of the Mancunian club’s attack. All three of them need to retain possession well in the Brighton half if they want to create enough chances for the Red Devils to win this cup contest.

Kobbie Mainoo, Mason Mount and Shea Lacey will be named on the bench as they wait for their chance to make an impact in the second 45 minutes if required.

Attack

Benjamin Sesko will spearhead Man United’s attack up top. He managed to score a brace in his last outing, which should give them a ton of confidence going into this game.

Joshua Zirkzee will have to be content with a place on the bench and might come on to make an impact in the latter stages of the game if needed.
