St Mirren and Dundee drew 0-0 in Paisley, the hosts finishing with 10 men after Jake Young's red card as Dundee stay ninth and St Mirren remain 10th in the Scottish Premiership.

In the 32nd minute, Shamal George palmed away Ethan Hamilton's drive from outside the box, then denied Yan Dhanda (41.).

After the restart, St Mirren introduced Jayden Richardson and Mikael Mandron. Jon McCracken soon tipped Scott Tanser's rising effort over (53.).

Young was sent off in the 63rd minute. Richardson threatened on the counter but McCracken saved low (75.). Scott Tanser then departed injured, with Dan Nlundulu coming on (78.), and Mandron fired over from the centre of the box (81.) as the 10 men held firm.

Dundee had 60.1% possession and registered 11 attempts, with two on target. St Mirren produced 10 attempts, also landing two on target.

Next, St Mirren host Hearts in the league. Dundee welcome Motherwell.
