Chelsea winger Alejandro Garnacho entered Premier League history on Sunday becoming the youngest South American player ever to reach 100 appearance in the competition.

The 21 year old hit the milestone during the 1-1 draw against Arsenal in matchweek 13 where he came off the bench at half time to replace Brazilian youngster Estevao playing the full second half.

Garnacho’s 100 Premier League appearance are split across two club:

  • 93 match with Manchester United where he rose through the academy into the first team
  • 7 match so far with Chelsea following his summer transfer under Enzo Maresca

At 21 year and 152 day, Garnacho surpasses Arsenal’s Gabriel Martinelli who previously held the record by reaching 100 league game at 22 year & 125 day.

Across his 100 Premier League match, Garnacho has contributed to 29 goal:

  • 17 goals
  • 12 assists

His direct involvement and rapid rise have cemented his status as one of the most exciting young wide forwards in English football.
