Yuri Alberto discusses Fenerbahçe offer and hails fresh start at Corinthians | OneFootball

Yuri Alberto addressed interest from Fenerbahçe after scoring in Corinthians’ 2-0 Supercopa do Brasil win over Flamengo in Brasília on Sunday.

Days earlier, the club from Türkiye had tabled an offer worth €18 million, which Corinthians rejected. Ten percent of the club’s share would go to agent André Cury.

“Corinthians only have 50 percent, so for me to leave it has to be something that benefits Corinthians a lot and, naturally, me too. I am very happy here. I spoke to Renato, this is my home. This was the club that gave me a big opportunity when I came back from Russia,” he told getv.

He joined in mid 2022 on loan from Zenit, then signed permanently in January 2023 in a deal involving Pedro, Gustavo Mantuan, Robert Renan, Du Queiroz and Ivan. “Being able to start from zero here, to be remembered in this shirt, is very important.
