Zaidu back among Nigeria's main options for the Jordan game

After being left out of Nigeria’s initial choices in favor of Bruno Onyemaechi in the Super Eagles’ last seven matches, Zaidu is, by all indications, set to take on a leading role again in tomorrow’s friendly against Jordan, scheduled for Amman, the capital of the Asian country.

It is an international test of the FC Porto left-back’s good form, as he has recently seen his importance in the team grow after a season in which he was almost always a secondary option. As such, this game for Nigeria also comes as a way to build rhythm for the decisive stage with the Dragons, at a time when he seems to have secured the spot on the left side of Francesco Farioli’s defense ahead of Francisco Moura.
