Zappacosta on Roma’s radar but relations with Atalanta make deal complicated

In addition to Lorenzo Bernasconi, Roma’s new sporting director, Tony D’Amico, has reportedly explored the idea of bringing Davide Zappacosta back to the Giallorossi.

As Alfredo Pedullà reported on his website, however, relations between the director and Atalanta have cooled due to a less than ideal relationship in recent months.

For Atalanta, the full-back is a valuable asset, and the way the parties parted ways was not welcomed.

Furthermore, D’Amico is also working on a Baldanzi deal with Genoa. Lorenzo Venturino could also be included in the deal, but he would risk being left out of the squad and receiving limited playing time.
