Zulte Waregem bring in former Juventus winger on loan | OneFootball

Zulte Waregem have announced the signing of former Juventus winger Marley Aké. the 24-year-old joins initially on loan from Swiss side Yverdon Sport, with the Belgian club have included an option to purchase with a two year deal for Aké. The winger only joined the Swiss side permanently last summer but after an impressive season for Yverdon he has earned a move to the Belgian Pro League.

Zulte Waregem will be hoping that the former Juventus man can live up to the promise he showed as a youngster. Aké came through the academy in Marseille before leaving the south of France in 2021 to join the Juventus set up. Aké had made 26 appearances for the Marseille first team, but only managed six in Italy. During his time with the Turin side he had loan spells with Dijon, Udinese and finally six months with Yverdon. After two goals in 17 games for the side he joined them permanently. Last year, Aké played 36 games for Yverdon, scoring seven goals and grabbing three assists.
