Ten people suffered minor injuries after clashes between Grenoble and Saint-Étienne supporters about two hours before Saturday’s Ligue 2 fixture in Grenoble, the Isère prefecture said.
Four Grenoble supporters, four from Saint-Étienne and two police officers were hurt.

The disturbances involved around 20 supporters just after 18:00, coinciding with the arrival of coaches carrying Saint-Étienne fans at the Grenoble stadium.
Police used tear gas and restored order within minutes.
The prefect offered full support to the two injured officers.
