France knows exactly which strategy to adopt in pursuit of the 2026 World Cup.

There is no doubt about Les Bleus' qualification for the 2026 World Cup. Already, the French Football Federation is turning its attention to the United States. The organization has been approached by its American counterpart to organize a tour across the Atlantic as early as next March.

The project, still in the discussion phase, would see Les Bleus first face Mauricio Pochettino's United States, before locking horns with either Mexico or Canada. Two fixtures with a World Cup flavor, as these nations will be the hosts of the tournament kicking off next June. It's a golden opportunity for Les Bleus to get a feel for some of the pitches and to soak up the atmosphere awaiting them in the USA.

The idea isn't new. L'Équipe recently revealed that the Federation had already considered, back in March 2024, organizing a friendly match in Argentina.
