As the season draws to a close, Luis Enrique has delivered a message to his players just weeks before the 2026 World Cup.

With just a few weeks to go until the 2026 World Cup, some players might subconsciously take their foot off the gas to avoid injuries that could force them to miss the global tournament. PSG coach Luis Enrique has urged his squad not to focus on the World Cup just yet.

"We shouldn't make any statements about this. The players are professionals. I'm always happy when it's a World Cup year because I have great confidence in the players, and we'd love for all of them to play. But we need to stay focused on the club and on what matters to us: winning the trophies we're competing for," the Spaniard said in Thursday's press conference.
