Manchester United are reportedly set to push ahead with a potential bargain transfer move for Napoli striker Victor Osimhen.
The Nigeria international is currently on loan from Napoli to Galatasaray and has had another prolific season in front of goal.
Man Utd are now keen to pounce for Osimhen, who has scored 29 goals in 34 games this season, and who could be available for as little as £40m, according to the Daily Mirror.
Osimhen looks ideal to breathe new life into this United attack, giving Ruben Amorim a much-needed upgrade on struggling forwards Joshua Zirkzee and Rasmus Hojlund.
Hojlund in particular has been really poor in his two seasons at Old Trafford, so a summer exit perhaps seems likely for the young Denmark international.

Osimhen very much looked like someone who would earn a big move last summer, but in the end he made the surprise loan move to Galatasaray.
No disrespect to the Turkish giants, but one imagines there were few at the start of last summer who would’ve seen Osimhen going there.
And now, there is surely little prospect of the 26-year-old making his stay with Galatasaray permanent, while Napoli will likely look to sell.
The Mirror state that Osimhen has just a year left on his contract with the Serie A giants, which is why he could be available for just £40m this summer.
This looks like too good an opportunity for United to miss, so it will be interesting to see if they can strike a deal to bring the former Lille man to Old Trafford.
United are in a bit of a crisis at the moment, though, so perhaps Osimhen will wait for other more tempting offers.
There has been a lot of talk of Chelsea trying to sign Osimhen, so that might be one to watch again as they could also do with a new striker and might have European football to offer, which is looking a lot less likely for United.
