There are a few Leicester City players in particular who can consider themselves squad losers since Ruud van Nistelrooy took over at King Power Stadium. And we are going to claim that these Foxes are unlucky to be on the outside of the starting lineup. The former PSV Eindhoven boss and interim Manchester United gaffer is fairly consistent in his match selections. Though, unfortunately he's constantly leaving out one or two of the most deadly attackers on the City roster.
However, following six home losses without any reply from Leicester's goalscorers, things may be about to change. Some observers, including myself, have forecasted that the Dutchman might perhaps be considering an upcoming system swap. Hopefully those potential alterations will include deploying the trio of players I am about to name.
The LCFC manager must now be decisive and not shy away from making possibly unpopular or questionable choices. Clearly RvN can no longer ignore some of his rather patient personnel. So, which Leicester stars are we referring to? And will they be included in the coming fixture against West Ham United?
Leicester are currently preparing to face the Hammers. This match would have ordinarily been described as a 'six-point' Premier League relegation contest. Although West Ham have improved under their latest head coach Graham Potter.
Yet the east London outfit are now a whopping 13 points away from the east Midlands side in the division. This means WHUFC are most likely safe from the drop. Furthermore, the Opta Analyst Supercomputer has predicted a home win on Thursday evening.
The pressure to demote Jordan Ayew and Bobby De Cordova-Reid might now be too much for RvN to resist. Surely Stephy Mavididi and Facundo Buonanotte will begin the game. Even if the unreliable James Justin is available, I'd like the promising Woyo Coulibaly to continue.
