Galatasaray star suffers new injury.

A major blow for Nigeria, Osimhen's injury raises concerns ahead of the match against DR Congo!
Nigeria and DR Congo battled it out in a tense CAF playoff final, a match that would decide which team advanced to the intercontinental playoff for a 2026 World Cup spot. The first half ended with the teams locked at 1-1, after Meshack's equalizer canceled out Onyeka's opening goal.
However, the half came at a heavy cost for Nigeria. Their key striker, Victor Osimhen of Galatasaray, was forced to leave the pitch with an injury just before the break and did not return for the second half. He was replaced by Sevilla's Adams. The severity and recovery time for Osimhen's injury are currently unknown.
His absence is a significant blow for the Nigerian squad, as Osimhen has been their most influential player throughout the qualifiers, having netted eight goals in just seven appearances.
