Abakar Sylla injured, Félix Lemaréchal ruled out of Strasbourg v Breidablik in Europa Conference League | OneFootball

Strasbourg will be without Félix Lemaréchal for the Europa Conference League meeting with Breidablik on Thursday at 21:00. Abakar Sylla has suffered another injury.

Head coach Liam Rosenior had hoped to call on the returning Sylla before the festive period. The Ivorian defender injured his ankle playing for the reserves against Sochaux in a 2-3 loss on Sunday, according to DNA.

Sylla is not registered for the Europa Conference League and should also miss Sunday’s Coupe de France tie against Dunkerque.

Lemaréchal was hurt in training on Thursday morning and has withdrawn from the squad for Breidablik.

Strasbourg are already without Mamadou Sarr and Guéla Doué due to the Africa Cup of Nations. Midfielder Maxi Oyedele remains out, while Abdoul Ouattara appeared at the press conference alongside Rosenior.
