After a 1-0 win over Mirassol on Sunday 15 in the sixth round of the Campeonato Brasileiro, Palmeiras returned to work at the club's Academia de Futebol, with Abel Ferreira potentially regaining important options.
According to Nosso Palestra, centre-back Murilo, in advanced recovery from a left knee sprain, and forward Vitor Roque, previously out with a left ankle knock, both trained with the group. Forward Paulinho continued pitch work as part of his reconditioning with the Health and Performance unit.
Lucas Evangelista praised the Allianz Parque pitch, said it felt good to be back home with stronger support, and called the three points vital. He accepted the side tired late on, adding that a team aiming to be champions must win whether playing well or not, and said he was sure the points would matter later.
He noted the demanding run of matches and the squad's depth, stressing the need to keep standards high. He said the team should build on the victory and take even more confidence into their next outing.
