According to a report from L’Équipe, AC Milan have reached an agreement on personal terms with Kyle Walker (34) from Manchester City ahead of a potential move in the winter transfer window. The England international defender has informed Pep Guardiola and the Premier League champions that he wishes to leave the club during the January window.
Now that an agreement has been reached between the player and the club on contractual terms, both City and the Milanese outfit must agree to the terms of the transfer. The Serie A club have sent an initial loan offer with achievable terms, which would see a purchase clause activated and Walker join Milan on a permanent basis.
Milan are confident that an agreement will be reached with the Manchester based club and that all being well, the 34-year-old will be unveiled as the club’s latest signing in the coming days, L’Équipe understands. Discussions between the two clubs are ongoing and an agreement could be reached shortly.
