AC Milan 'to rival' Villa for Summerville, Albion eye Dieng and Heaton signs new deal | OneFootball

With the season over, transfer talk is intensifying around the Midlands. Manchester United have retained Tom Heaton for another year, while AC Milan are 'to rival' Aston Villa for Summerville, according to TeamTalk. West Brom and QPR are linked with Bamba Dieng, and Bromley are eyeing Daniel Kanu.

United’s third-choice goalkeeper, 40, has agreed a one-year contract. He moved to Villa from Burnley for £8 million in summer 2019, then left on a free to rejoin United two years later. The England international has three caps and has featured only three times since his 2021 return.

Former Walsall loanee Daniel Kanu has attracted League One interest, with newly promoted Bromley among the suitors. It is not yet clear whether they want a permanent deal or another loan. The 21-year-old scored 18 goals for the Saddlers in all competitions last season.

Villa are reportedly interested in Crysencio Summerville, with Milan emerging as serious contenders alongside Tottenham. The 24-year-old West Ham winger delivered seven goals and five assists in 34 games last season and is set to leave following relegation. West Ham are expected to seek around £35 million.

Albion and QPR have been credited with interest in Senegal striker Dieng, 26, who is a free agent after leaving Lorient. He scored 14 goals in 21 outings last term, including nine in 18 Ligue 1 matches for the side that finished 10th, and has six in 26 for his country. Albion want reinforcements up front after Daryl Dike’s release, with Josh Maja’s future uncertain and Aune Heggebo under contract.
