Adam Bareiro has explained the sit-down celebration he shares with Leandro Paredes and Miguel Merentiel whenever they score.
"It is a celebration because we always get together to play truco among ourselves. It is very nice, I am very happy to celebrate those goals with them and we hope to keep making it a habit," he told El Canal de Boca.
"Let it become a habit, and hopefully we can keep scoring to do it," he said, after repeating it in the 1-0 win over Talleres in Córdoba. They had previously unveiled it at La Bombonera against Instituto.
"I found two excellent players and excellent people here at the club. Lea welcomed me in the best way when I arrived. Day by day he shows me what it is to be a Boca player."
"It is very special to have a leader like him. He has won everything in his career on the pitch. Off it he is another friend who makes you feel that way and always pushes so things go well."
Since joining from Fortaleza, the Paraguayan has been directly involved in five goals in his first seven Boca matches. He struck twice on debut against Gimnasia de Chivilcoy in the Copa Argentina and added an assist, then scored against Instituto and Talleres. His goal decided the 1-0 win over Talleres.
