Adrien Rabiot’s future at Juventus in doubt after contract extension difficulties | OneFootball

Adrien Rabiot (29) became a free agent yesterday when his contract with Juventus expired. The Italian side have tried for months to extend the Frenchman’s time at the club but to no avail, with Fabrizio Romano reporting that the negotiations between the two parties have stalled.

There is still no agreement in place between the club and the player, with Juventus reportedly believing that they have offered Rabiot the best deal which would see him net over €7 million per season. However, with his contract now expired, the Frenchman can talk to other clubs, and interest remains high in the international.

Rabiot is now thought to be waiting until after the Euros to make his decision on where he will play his football next season although he admitted in a press conference last month that he had expected his future to have already been agreed upon ahead of the competition.
