Agreement imminent between Manchester City and Lille for Ayyoub Bouaddi | OneFootball

According to a report from Foot Mercato, an agreement is imminent between Manchester City and Lille OSC for Ayyoub Bouaddi (18). 

The Moroccan international, who recently shone at the 2026 FIFA World Cup, has already agreed personal terms with the Premier League side. The sticking point appears to be in the details. Lille would like him to spend another season with them on loan, while City want to incorporate him into their squad from this summer. 

Ever since Bouaddi emerged in Ligue 1, he’s been one of the prospects to keep an eye on and looked destined for a move to one of Europe’s elite sides. It was hard to keep the teenager a secret when he made his full UEFA Champions League debut on his 17th birthday in the 1-0 win over Real Madrid. After that, it has been a case of waiting for clubs to make the move and try to finally win his signature.
