Leeds United are set for their second season back in the Premier League, and an AI projection has mapped out the 2026-27 table.
According to yorkshireeveningpost.co.uk, Google Ask Gemini was asked to predict the final standings and placed Arsenal first, Manchester City second, Liverpool third, Manchester United fourth, Chelsea fifth and Aston Villa sixth, outlining reasons for each pick.
Leeds and Sunderland both avoided the drop last term, breaking the newly promoted slump. Daniel Farke’s side finished 14th, eight points clear, and secured survival with three matches remaining. Sunderland ended seventh to reach next season’s Europa League.
It was different for Burnley, who went down with Wolves and West Ham. They make way for Championship winners Coventry City, runners-up Ipswich Town and play-off winners Hull City, all new to 2026-27.
Coventry, Ipswich and Hull are among the bookmakers’ favourites to go straight back down. A second top-flight year is often considered tougher than the first.
