A new AI supercomputer has projected the 2026-27 Premier League table, flagging major calls for Leeds United, Sunderland and Nottingham Forest ahead of Leeds' second season back.

According to yorkshireeveningpost.co.uk, experts at Tipman Tips fed team data into the model and ran a season-long simulation to predict the final standings.

The model places Arsenal top on 88 points, citing the benefits of being defending champions and reduced pressure. Manchester City are next on 82, with Pep Guardiola gone and Enzo Maresca taking charge of a squad needing little change.

Chelsea are predicted third on 76, with Xabi Alonso viewed as adding decisiveness to a talented but erratic group. Liverpool are fourth on 74, with a new-manager bounce anticipated under Andoni Iraola.

Aston Villa are put fifth on 70 points, the model pointing to Unai Emery's consistency and their status as Europa League holders. Newcastle United are set sixth on 68, their blank European schedule last season framed as a benefit. The projection also features standout calls on Leeds, Sunderland and Forest elsewhere in the table.
