ESPN are reporting that Ajax are looking to bring in Burnley defender Quilindschy Hartman. According to ESPN, Ajax are looking to initially loan Hartman from Burnley back to the Eredivisie and will try to include an option to buy as part of the deal. While Hartman has been getting playing time for Burnley, Ajax may well give him a better chance of being on the plane with the rest of the Oranje squad for the 2026 World Cup.
Hartman only joined Premier League side Burnley last summer from Feyenoord. The 24-year-old has played 15 games for Burnley this season, providing four assists. Prior to joining Burnley, Hartman spent three years with the senior Feyenoord side. After making his debut during the 2022/2023 season, Hartman went on to play 83 games for the side, scoring twice and providing 12 assists. He has also been capped a handful of times by the Netherlands senior national team.
