Akor Adams ‘to sign’ for Venezia as Sevilla close first big summer sale | OneFootball

Sevilla FC have sealed their first major sale of the summer with Akor Adams, easing the wage bill and bringing in funds for a necessary rebuild. According to Zona Mixta, the Nigerian is travelling to Venice to finalise a contract until 2030.

The deal is shaping up as one of Sevilla’s most profitable this window. Venezia are the only club to make a firm move and to meet a valuation close to 20 million euros.

The striker had held out for a higher-ambition project, stretching talks, but after weeks weighing the proposal he has now given the green light to join the Italian club.

After four early summer arrivals, the sporting department led by José Ignacio Navarro is prioritising departures. Tanguy Nianzou is heading to LOSC Lille, a move that yields no direct fee but brings significant first-team salary relief.

Also on the exit list is young wing-back Oso, with Sevilla seeking at least 10 million euros. Olympiacos have shown the strongest interest so far, though early bids have fallen short. Sevilla have lined up a left-sided replacement, Julio Díaz of Atlético Madrid, for about one million euros in exchange for 50 percent of his rights.
