Al Ahly leads the way: the 10 most valuable African clubs according to Transfermarkt

The Egyptian club Al Ahly tops the ranking of Africa’s most valuable clubs in terms of market value, according to the latest update from specialist site Transfermarkt, with an estimated value of €39.55 million.

South Africa’s Mamelodi Sundowns take second place with a valuation of €36.35 million. Egypt’s Pyramids FC completes the podium at €23.50 million, narrowly edging out the Orlando Pirates, who hold fourth with €23.45 million.

This ranking also highlights a strong Moroccan presence, with three clubs among the continent’s top ten: Wydad Athletic Club, Renaissance de Berkane, and AS FAR.
