According to a source close to the club, cited by Yalla Kora, Al-Okhdood did indeed approach Al Ahly to inquire about Emam Ashour’s situation. He’s a core part of the club’s project.”The same source noted that Ashour is one of the pillars of the squad, and a contract renegotiation is under consideration to reward his outstanding performances.Signed in the summer of 2023 from Danish club Midtjylland, Ashour quickly established himself as a key figure in the team.
