Al Hilal ‘agree terms’ to sign Crysencio Summerville from West Ham in £60m package | OneFootball

Al Hilal have agreed terms to sign Crysencio Summerville from West Ham United, with an official announcement still pending.

According to Goal.com, the package is £55 million plus a further five million pounds in add-ons, around €70 million and roughly 300 million Saudi riyals.

Summerville had been close to joining Roma before the Riyadh club stepped in late and persuaded the 24-year-old to change course.

He emerged as a surprise for the Netherlands at the 2026 World Cup, playing six matches and 388 minutes. He registered five goal contributions, two goals and three assists.

Primarily a left winger, he has also operated on the right for his country, offering Al Hilal tactical flexibility. He could take the right after Malcom de Oliveira’s summer departure, or the left ahead of captain Salem Al-Dawsari.

Raised at Feyenoord, he was loaned to Dordrecht in January 2019 after a training-ground altercation that also involved his brother. Summerville has since described the episode as a lesson in responsibility and professionalism.

The move underlines Al Hilal’s intent to reassert themselves domestically and in Asia in 2026-27. Focus will soon shift to how Summerville fits into their front line.
