Al-Hilal errors leave Yassine Bounou exposed as Al-Taawoun strike twice

Yassine Bounou suffered a sudden injury as Al-Hilal faltered against Al-Taawoun in the Roshen Professional League’s 27th round on Saturday evening. According to Goal.com, the Moroccan goalkeeper sustained the injury during the match.

Al-Hilal conceded the equaliser in the 55th minute of the second half, a superb header from André Gerotto.

Al-Taawoun then went in front with another header in the 67th minute of the second half.

Both goals arrived from crosses, with poor marking by Al-Hilal. The issue has been familiar for Italian manager Simone Inzaghi’s men. Bounou has impressed, yet defensive frailties overshadow his work.

Bounou had kept clean sheets in his previous two outings, 4-0 against Al-Najma and 1-0 against Al-Fateh, before conceding twice here.
