Turkish defender Ravil Tagir currently shining at Al Jazira Club in the UAE Pro League has revealed his admiration for both Cristiano Ronaldo & Lionel Messi but admitted he leans toward the Portuguese icon due to his loyalty to Real Madrid.

Adjusting to Abu Dhabi Life

Speaking in video interview shared by Al Jazira’s official X account, Tagir reflected on the challenges he faced upon arriving in the UAE.

"It was tough at first because of the hot weather. But with training and games, I got used to life in Abu Dhabi especially thanks to the warm welcome from the club management and my teammates" he said.

A Quiet Life in the Capital

The young defender expressed his love for Abu Dhabi’s calm atmosphere.

"I enjoy peaceful living dining out, playing at home. My favorite place here is Galleria Mall. I hang out with friends, shop, eat , we do everything together. I’m happy here and I hope to stay at Al Jazira for long time" he said.

Dreams with Al Jazira

Tagir's focused on achieving success with the team in the coming season.

"We've clear goals for next season and I truly believe in our squad. We’re capable of achieving them"

His standout memory? The ADIB cup Final against Shabab Al Ahli.

"We fought hard and won the title it was special game"
