Rotherham head coach, Alex Bruce has spoken out on Sam Nombe's future, with significant transfer interest in the forward this summer.
Rotherham United are for an interesting summer ahead, with the Millers looking to show much-needed improvement after a forgetful league campaign last term.
They finished 23rd in the League One table, which means that they'll be playing their football in the fourth-tier for the first time since the 2012/13 season.
Long gone are the days of playing in the Championship, and former Hull City defender Alex Bruce has been trusted with the rebuild on the pitch at the AESSEAL New York Stadium moving forwards.
Reinforcements are certainly needed, as Rotherham look to win promotion back into League One at the first time of asking, which is something that the club's supporters will be expecting their side to achieve.
You'd like to think that members of the Millers squad will be eager to impress Bruce at the earliest opportunity, although there are some players that will have an eye on a move elsewhere.
One player that fits this description perfectly is Sam Nombe, who impressed for Rotherham last season, despite their struggles in the battle to avoid the drop.

Nombe has been linked with a move away from Rotherham this summer, and it's been reported that the forward has been subject of a £500,000 bid from League One side, MK Dons, which was swiftly rejected by Rotherham.
Millers boss Alex Bruce has spoken out on Nombe's future, and admitted that he expects the forward to leave the club this summer, but only if the club's valuation is matched by any potential suitors.
"If you want the truth, I do expect him to move. He's a good player, and I've seen that from the first two days of pre-season. However, I say that I expect him to move, but it has to be the right price, and a price that is happy for everybody concerned.
"If it's not, he won't be (leaving). It's as simple as that. If it's the right price, then we'll have to see what happens. We'll see what happens in the next couple of days."

Nombe was a rare bright spark in a disappointing season for Rotherham in last year's campaign, and he's certainly justified a move to a club higher up the English football pyramid.
The forward scored 12 goals in 31 appearances for the Millers, and without his goals, Rotherham would have been cut adrift at the bottom of the League One table.
He has just one year remaining on his current contract with the Yorkshire-based side, and it seems as though it's the ideal time for him to move on, especially if the club can avoid losing him for free next summer.
It remains to be seen as to whether MK Dons will return with a second offer for Nombe, but he's more than capable of playing regularly in League One for a team in a better position than Rotherham found themselves in last season.
Paul Warne's side would likely have the financial muscle required to prise Nombe away from South Yorkshire, and his services are sure to be courted elsewhere as Bruce prepares to lose the forward at some stage this summer.
