Alexander Isak has been named in Liverpool’s 21-player squad for Wednesday’s Champions League quarter-final first leg against PSG at the Parc des Princes, kick-off 21:00.
L'Équipe reports that the 26-year-old Sweden forward has not featured for Arne Slot’s side since 20 December, when he sustained a fractured fibula in a 2-1 Premier League match at Tottenham.
He joined from Newcastle on 1 September for a British-record £125 million, excluding bonuses, around €145 million, arriving at the English champions short of fitness.
His season was initially disrupted by a groin injury. In his absence, France striker Hugo Ekitike has led the line with some success.
Goalkeeper Alisson Becker is out injured for the PSG tie, as are long-term absentees Wataru Endo, Conor Bradley and Giovanni Leoni.
