Yesterday, OM faltered in the dying minutes to settle for a frustrating draw against Strasbourg (2-2) in Ligue 1. In spite of the ongoing crisis within the Marseille club, striker Amine Gouiri remains upbeat about the remainder of the season.

"For me, I'm confident. We have a very good team. We're 4th, not far from the podium. We're also in the quarterfinals of the Coupe de France. We need to see our matches through to the end. We're still in the running, and we'll give everything to reach the Champions League and win this cup," the Algerian told reporters in the mixed zone.

Currently sitting 4th in the standings, OM are provisionally two points behind third-placed Olympique Lyonnais.
