Napoli have officially confirmed the appointment of Massimiliano Allegri as their new head coach, with the experienced Italian manager signing a three-year contract to begin a new era at the club.

Despite a disappointing 2025–26 campaign with Milan, where he failed to secure UEFA Champions League qualification, Allegri has earned the confidence of the 2025- 26 Serie A runners-up, Napoli, which chose the former Juventus and Milan boss over several other candidates, including Vincenzo Italiano.
