The agent of Bayern Munich left-back Alphonso Davies has rejected reports from Spain claiming an agreement has been reached over a move to Real Madrid.
Davies is approaching the final six months of his contract with Bayern and Madrid's interest in his services is no secret, with the left-back first identified as a target nearly 18 months ago.
A report from MARCA recently claimed that Davies had already reached an agreement to join Madrid, with all the details of a contract verbally settled and missing only a formal signature as the Spanish side prepare to wrap the deal up as soon as the January transfer window opens.
Davies' agent, however, has insisted there is no such deal and even left the door open to an extension with Bayern.
"This is not true, though the player has many options, we have not agreed terms with any club," agent Nedal Huoseh told Philipp Kessler. "Bayern could also be an option. Any reports suggesting otherwise are incorrect."
Madrid have long made it clear to Davies that, if he truly wants to move to the Santiago Bernabeu, he will have to adopt the stance taken by previous targets and reject all advances from other teams to prove his loyalty to Los Blancos.
Christian Falk recently revealed on the Bayern Insider podcast that Davies has been living up to his end of the bargain, having been warned by Bayern that he must find himself a new club if he does not accept what is described as a final contract offer.
Barcelona and Manchester United are both touted as suitors for Davies - the Red Devils managed to turn Leny Yoro's head away from Madrid last summer - but all signs suggest Madrid are ahead in the race for the Canada international's signature.
