América Femenil capped a superb first half of 2026 by winning the Clausura 2026 and the Concacaf W Champions Cup.
Competitive action resumes on 31 July, with the schedule still to be released, and the hierarchy have begun shaping the squad for the second half of the year, according to Americayya.net.
Few moves are anticipated, with the aim to keep the title-winning core and strengthen depth, particularly on the bench. There are no official arrivals yet, but left-back Karol Bernal from Rayadas and goalkeeper Jaidy Gutiérrez from Puebla are expected to be confirmed in the coming days.
Two exits are confirmed. Sandra Paños has left at contract end and signed for San Diego Wave in the NWSL, while Chidinma Okeke also departs after her deal expired, with her next club yet to be determined.
At least two further additions are expected beyond those named, one Mexican and one from abroad. Priscila Da Silva will be available for this tournament.
As for departures, Annia Mejía will leave, and Julie López may also move on, although that is not yet certain.
