América to receive most FIFA money among Liga MX clubs

Club América will receive the largest FIFA payment among Liga MX clubs for the 2026 World Cup, totalling 1.2 million euros.

According to Americayya.net, with the 2026 World Cup one day from kick-off, FIFA pays clubs for each player involved at the tournament.

América have four players across three national teams, Israel Reyes for Mexico, Alejandro Zendejas for the United States, and Sebastián Cáceres and Brian Rodríguez for Uruguay.

Chivas are second on 1.1 million euros, despite having five players selected.

América’s total also reflects small shares from Julián Quiñones, Álvaro Fidalgo and Rodrigo Aguirre, as FIFA allocates payments to clubs that employed a player within the past two years.
