Four American players will feature in Serie A this season, including a newcomer, so here’s what to expect from them in the 2025-26 campaign.
Christian Pulisic surely is the most notable player among American players in Serie A this season, with the USMNT captain remaining in San Siro despite the lack of European football this term.
The ex-Chelsea and Borussia Dortmund winger was never involved in any transfer negotiation this summer and is expected to play a key role under new coach Massimiliano Allegri this season after becoming the best Rossoneri scorer in an otherwise frustrating 2024-25 campaign.
Pulisic has already scored his first Serie A goal, coming on as a substitute in an away game at Lecce.
Considering a Coppa Italia game against Bari in August, Captain America has already netted twice in three appearances in 2025-26.
The rise of American stars in Italy has made Serie A even more appealing overseas, as evidenced by sportsbooks in Texas.

Timothy Weah, another USMNT star, left Serie A giants Juventus to join Marseille during the summer transfer window, and even if his ex-teammate Weston McKennie has remained in Turin, his future has to be monitored in the coming months.
McKennie has only made two substitute appearances so far this season, and with a contract expiring in 2026, his future at the club remains uncertain.
As Football Italia reported in July, there was a substantial gap between offer and demand in terms of agent commissions, so talks between the two parties are stalling.
Yunus Musah changed his club over the summer, but remained in the Lombardy region, swapping Milan with Atalanta.

The USMNT midfielder had also attracted interest from Napoli and Nottingham Forest over the summer, but eventually joined La Dea on deadline day.
Under new coach Ivan Juric, Musah can play in a variety of roles, from central midfielder to right wing-back. Although he’s unlikely to be a regular starter in Bergamo, Atalanta are one of the four Serie A representatives in the Champions League, so the 22-year-old will have plenty of opportunities to show his worth.
Last but not least is new Parma midfielder Benja Cremaschi, who joined the Ducali on loan from Inter Miami.
It is the first time that Cremaschi, 20, leaves the USA, but he’ll need to adapt quickly to convince Parma to pay €4.5m to make his move permanent in 2026.
Cremaschi can play as a central midfielder or as a right wing-back, and, just like Musah, completed his transfer on deadline day, boosting Carlos Cuesta’s options in midfield in a season where Parma are expected to fight for survival.
