Other sports news websites quoted the player's agent and close associates as saying that the player only discovered the rumor through social media.

The same source has indicated that Sevilla FC holds a genuine interest in the player, having come remarkably close to securing his signature during the last summer transfer window, as exclusively revealed by "Africa Foot." However, the deal ultimately collapsed due to the financial constraints that prevented the Andalusian club from registering any new players.

It is worth recalling that Amir Richardson (23) joined Fiorentina in the summer of 2024, arriving from Stade de Reims in a transfer valued at nine million euros.
