Ana Vitória returns to Corinthians and targets trophies in second spell | OneFootball

Corinthians have re-signed 25-year-old midfielder Ana Vitória from Atlético de Madrid, marking her return for a second spell with the Brabas. The club announced the deal on Monday morning.

In her first week back she described training as intense and called the comeback emotionally exciting. She set her sights on titles with the backing of the Fiel, promising total commitment.

Although unveiled this week, she had already joined the squad last week, taking part in early 2026 pre-season work, completing medicals and appearing at the club’s media day.

In her first stint between 2017 and 2018, she played 57 matches, starting 33, with 43 wins, nine draws and five defeats. She scored eight goals and lifted the 2017 Libertadores Feminina and 2018 Brasileiro.

After leaving Parque São Jorge, she enjoyed success in Europe, notably at Benfica where she won 10 trophies, then moved to Paris Saint-Germain and Atlético de Madrid. Across eight seasons, she also earned Brazil’s Paris 2024 Olympic silver.

She is expected to make her re-debut in the Copa das Campeãs on 28 January, at half past nine Brasília time, in a single-leg semi-final against Gotham FC in London, England.
